GOAL: to promote literacy and to instill a love of reading and writing with the help of art.
- In school program for grades K-2nd
- Established in 2007, and is a collaboration with the Patagonia Library
- Encourages kids to write meaningfully during 8, one-hour sessions on a selected theme that will be accompanied by illustrations and combined into a book.
- The children’s work is compiled into a book, which is then put on display at the library for the public view with emphasis on family participation.
